Summer Camp
May 23, 2011 (Monday)
To take advantage of the “early bird” discount of $220 per Scout, Ingersoll Scout Reservation (ISR) required payment by April 1, 2011. Troop 3 allowed a down payment of $110 and the Troop temporarily paid the other half so that payment would be received by ISR by April 1, 2011. For those who have not paid the entire amount, May 23, 2011 is the date Troop 3 needs to be reimbursed.
June 1, 2011 (Wednesday)
It is not too late for a Scout to go to summer camp. After April 1, 2011 the cost is $240. ISR must have payment by June 1, 2011.
June 27, 2011 (Monday)
Health forms due. In order for us to organize these forms and to determine if they are filled correctly, physicals should be completed and the health forms should be turned in by Monday, June 27, 2011. Committee Secretary, June Brown is collecting these.
July 10, 2011 – 9:30 AM (Sunday)
Meet at the Grant School and then leave for ISR.
ISR is not providing lunch. Everyone should bring a sack lunch.
July 15, 2011 (Friday)
Ingersoll Scout Reservation FAMILY NIGHT.

If I remember correctly there will not be an Order of the Arrow Call-Out Ceremony as outlined in ISR information on Family Night.
Unlike Camp Bunn, the only seating at the campfire is the ground. You may wish to bring blanket and chairs to sit on (and bug spray).
IMPORTANT – unless there are serious and/or extenuating circumstances, we ask that your Scout NOT be taken home on Friday after Family Night – even if your Scout begs you to take him. We need all Scouts to help tear down and pack up camp. We all wish to get home on Saturday as soon as we can, especially after spending a week at Summer Camp. When Scouts go home on Friday, it takes us that much longer. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
July 16, 2011 (Saturday)
We will be arriving at Douglas Church to unload our gear. All Scouts are expected to help. Again, if any Scouts leave ISR during Family Night on Friday, it will take us that much longer to unload. Us adults who have spent a week at summer camp are tired and want to go home.
Please be available for a phone call so that your Scout can be picked up.
